You just want someone to help you address your issue now. You don’t want to wait. You’re busy with life and don’t want to delve into your past just yet. Let’s get down to business. Solution-focused therapy (also known as short term brief therapy) usually starts with me asking you “what if a miracle occurred overnight and your life changed? What would your life look like now?” Or “assume your problem has been solved? What does your life look like now?”

With some guidance from me, we will work together to meet your identified goal as soon as we can. No forcing you into therapy for months and months if you are not ready.
